ANSYS simulation, more specific about transient structural simulations?

Hi there,

I am a student who is very new to ANSYS. I want to simulate the following scenario

A flexible rod is connected to a rigid hub. The hub starts from 0 rad/s at 0ͦangle and reaches 100 rad/s at 180ͦangle.

Due to the angular acceleration, the flexible rod experiences inertial forces and bends back by some distance (say x).

I am trying to find this x and also the stresses that develop within the rod during motion.

I tried following a few tutorials in YouTube(1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shXpLD9nFxc , and 2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Aq6VIsfq5M ) for setting up transient structural simulations but the setups kept crashing.

Can anybody guide me to a proper step-by-step tutorial for this scenario?

Please help!
