Can I build a sandwich-shaped perovskite cell like the DSSC?
For example TiO2 / PErovskite / Spiro in an FTO
Gold in another FTO
Sandwich the two to form the cell
(My institution does not have sputtering to make the gold deposit on the surface of my cell)

You can try thermal evaporation of Au on the glass. Moreover, solution-processed Au nanoparticles can also be considered.

You use gold electroplating to deposit gold on the conductive oxide coated glass.
If you want to combine the two cell halves then you can combine then at the spiro ome tad layer where you can spin it on and then stack the two halves on each other after where you can cure the Spiro ome tad.
This is a proposal for a solution to form the sandwich.
