Researching on the internet I found a U.S. publication (2011) (1), another Cuban (2010) (2), and one Peruvian (2007) (3) concerning Annona muricata, known as soursop. The Cuban is a meta-analysis which shows that the only evidence of the anticancer potential was tested in vitro with the active ingredients of the plant. However, the inhumanity of this research is that no one wants to start the Phase 1 research because you can not patent the soursop tree and therefore there will be no payout of any potential scientific breakthrough. Possible solutions relegated to the background when there is no financial compensation, is embarrassing for anyone who deigns called scientific.

Many researchers are publishing the potential of medicinal plants and other active compounds from them which is claimed to be anticancer. If that was the real case; then we might have discovered better cancer preventive drugs. Just for publishing papers many researchers publish their work which may not be useful to the mankind. Everyone must rethink about this issue before uploading their paper. I have found several researchers all over the world keep on adding the number of publications and no one want to really do some thing to the mankind.
