The second graph (Dev weight change(%/C)-Temperature (C) or dm/dt-Temperature) also belongs to the TGA analysis. When an experiment is performed by TGA, you can get different information and different graphs. The weight change per degree Celsius shows the temperature where the maximum change of weight happens in the sample. The slope and the height of the weight change per degree Celsius in the graph is comparable if you have different samples.

I agree with Abdelkader BOUAZIZ.

DTG is the first derivative of TGA, it is not a separate thermal analysis. Even if they did not give you the second graph, you can get DTG by applying the 1st derivative of the TGA using software such as OriginLab software.

Dear Deepti Singh The DTG refers to the derivative of the thermogravimetric (TG) data which means the 1st derivative of TGA curves (wt. %/min or mg/sec). If it shows weight change per degree celsius means dW/dT which also called DTG but you can manually draw the dm/dt from the TGA curves using Origin or R or MATLAB or any other software.

As others pointed, DTG is not an independent analysis. It is calculated by 1st derivatives of TGA data. One needs to pay attention to the algorithm and how 1st derivatives were obtained from the raw TGA data. Different parameters used to calculate derivatives can lead to different conclusions!!!
