Alamouti encoding for DMT ?

Hi,

I am trying to design alamouti code with DMT scheme. DMT is real valued OFDM. But the 2x1 alamouti matrix has complex conjugates which is confusing me. Can some one help me with some explanation on the cadence of system design at the transmitter & receiver.

I appreciate any reference over the basic system design of Alamouti-DMT
