I prepare 0.2 w% of Al2O3+CuO hybrid nanofluid in Water+EG (60:40), after 1 hour and 30 minutes of sonication about 50 ml of fluid just get disappeared. No signs of splashing were there, even though it does not get heated during sonication ( prob sonicator was used with 20kHz of frequency and 500W
Depending on the depth of the bath, this could just be evaporation.
The surface of the bath is agitated, right?
And you're dumping half a kW of power into the water - not all of which is turning into sound - so the solution will be warmer than ambient, and with a vigorously agitated surface.
If you have a little draught removing this warm and perfectly humid vapour from the bath then I'd be surprised to see *no* loss of solution.
A close-fitting lid might help.

sometime during sonication some of our fluid splash, if overfilled so it reduces the amount of fluid.
James Garry yeah I think so, as after prob sonication I applied bath sonication with the closed lid beaker, I got some vapors at the wall but the overall amount of fluid remains the same.
