Yes it can. How good, that is another question... I can make an AI to create schedules, communicate with students and teachers, track students progress and send warnings if something is out of order. Imagine that AI identifies that specific student grades droped, this can indicate depression or anything else which would alert that student might need help. You can do a lot with AI but you should not trust it blindly as we want to be humans not lazy potatoes.

You know, we can replace people even now, but why? Now futuristic vision:

we replace teachers with machines, they can teach same topics, right?

But would you feel better learning from robot or person who can joke, who can advice you, who can make a break if class look tired? AI is great but we make AI systems to assist us not to replace us. It can help you study if you at home, it can help you administrate papers if you have tons of it and so on. Together with AI humans can grow, seperately - none of us will grow that fast.

I'm not saying that AI will not replace some works but for education point of view, I see no point of doing so. We can do it but humans have social, emotional factors and much more. We can even replace presidents with AI and AI might rule with justice all the time, but would you want that? We always have situations in which human logic is better than AI logic and sometimes it leads to miracles... imagine AI in medicine choosing to save one patient over the other as he/she has better chances to survive while actual person might try to save both... He/she can fail or succeed but trying and making mistakes is what makes us humans. In some situations AI is better and in other - human. This is why I think that AI should work together with people instead of replacing them, we create it to assist us.

Interesting question and replies. In short, yes it can help. There are benefits and challenges. Any person using AI, just like any type of technology, should be aware and conscious.
