A question for you all: What would you estimate is the overall level of agreement among statisticians/methodologists in the social sciences regarding procedures and interpretation of structural equation modeling and its related forms (e.g., latent growth modeling, latent class analyses, growth mixture modeling, etc.)? Overall would you say it is high, mid, or low in terms of agreement, or could you even estimate a rough percentage agreement? Are you aware of any publications on this topic?
