After immunizing mice with snake venom 3FTxs antigen for several weeks, ELISA results show very low ODs. Results are not consistent too. Any ideas?

3FTxs are three-finger toxins found in most elapids and rarely in vipers. In my snake species (Naja ashei), 3FTxs make up about 70% of the total venom load.
