After how much time SEM analysis can be performed once sample is prepared?

Can anyone guide me that when should we perform the SEM analysis when sample is removed from shaking incubator? I have LDPE beads placed on shaking incubator, now i have to remove the sample, should I go for SEM analysis on the same day or sample can be stored for some days?
