Iran has been subject to substantial cycles of drought and flood . Are there any adaptive policy responses to drought and flood which can take place at the individual, community?
Simplest answer is to develop policies to store (save) water during drought and use it to satisfy demand during deficit times. For floods, it becomes policies related to temporary storage of excess water. Water harvesting and afforestation seems like good strategies to increase adaptation to these extreme events.
