Dear Members of ResearchGate Community. I am helping my residents to better understand how people from all over the world deal with acute shoulder dislocations handling in an urgent setting. We would like to know if anyone that still deals with urgent care has interest on taking part of a short research project. This deals with the personal experience at reducing shoulder dislocations and the use of articular block or suprascapular nerve block, or no / general anesthesia to aid in the reduction of pain during the closed reduction of a first time shoulder dislocation. A short google forms questionnaire will be available. This secures patients’ privacy . The plan is for it to be available for one year - especially so that interns and trainees can have a database with diverse experiences around the world, large enough for future work and publications.
Participation is, of course, optional and not mandatory and allows for the inclusion of several cases per person. Let's see if we can spread the word as much as possible.
