I’m curious about how different journal indexing platforms are perceived in your country, particularly in the context of academic competitions and evaluations. Could you share your insights on the following?

Does DOAJ hold significant academic value in your country?

In academic competitions, does a publication indexed in Scopus or Web of Science carry more weight?

If Scopus quartiles are recognized, which ones are considered valuable (e.g., Q1, Q2, etc.)?

On Web of Science, is there an equivalent ranking system that corresponds to the quartiles of Scopus?

Is PubMed/Medline recognized as a valuable index in academic evaluations?
