What happens with the abstracts that we send to the congresses, end up being published or are they forgotten after presenting them in the congresses, what is your experience and opinions
Abstracts are summaries of studies that have been carried out. They give an overview of the entire study. However, for conferences, some researchers project abstracts of intended or ongoing projects and submit for conferences. These abstracts must be thoroughly worked on to envision these studies in real life applications. Otherwise, they would just be a waste of precious academic resources.
Abstracts of a research or review paper let the readers decide quickly whether an article is pertinent and helps readers anticipate what's coming in the text itself. Abstracts offer an overview of the entire paper. Conference abstract on the other hand is often the only part of work that conference organizers will see, so it should be in accordance with the conference guidelines, strong enough to stand alone and qualify for a ticket to the conference. It depends on the author's interest to publish the paper in the related proceeding or in journal after presenting the paper.
In my opinion an abstract is the beginning of a study, it can be used in the congresses to know the opinion of the reviewers and comments of the researchers who see your presentation
I didn't submit any abstract to any conference, it could be just a visa to attend the conference
It depends on congress and how to receive abstract ,full text for research.
