Most students are spending more and more time on social media. I would like to share my experience in this domaine, for the last several years, every subject I teach has a group on facebook which becomes a cumulative forum of discussion between the students ( old and new) themselves under my supervision. Dear Devojit, this ia a good question, I suggest you ask it as an independant question your smart colleagues will recommend it after answering. It will benefit you and also more colleagues. Information may become knowledge and wisdom with maturity and experience plus naturally openness of mind. Good luck.
If you are having any good intention and some like minded friends and followers, you may make a group in any social media to share good ideas.
But I am not so hopeful in that subject. The subject of discussion of most of the new generation people is not up to the standard of satisfaction - at least to me.
