I am working on a thin rod. I applied forces at top four corners of the rod and i got results as expected i.e. Compression on side and tention on other.
Is it possible to get same i.e Comprssion on one side and tention on other while applying Response Spectrum analysis?
Because I am applying RP allong X direction the same in which i applied static loading but I am getting problem
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Abaqus haven't got procedure like RSA.
I'm using Abaqus to reach frequency analysis but other calculation from RSA I do by myself.

You mean to say that it is not possible to do RSA (Response Spectrum Analysis) in Abaqus?
But do you think the response shown above in case of RSA is correct?

my mistake.
The old version hasn't got RSA, but for e.g. 6.14 - has.
RSA is quasi-dynamic analysis.
During analysis forces are calculate from spectrum and put to material point like static.
Look Abaqus help.
