This is a straightforward model and I have no idea why it is not converging. In the model, I applied a concentrated load on one end of the column with the other end pinned. I had run this in the past with no problem at all, but this time I ran out of ideas why it is not running...

Found the issue. I have the Nlgeom turned ON in the Step. Try turning it OFF and it should work if you are having the same issue.
1. Geometry and meshing, ensure that the geometry and meshing are correct. Convergence problems can often be due to a coarse or inappropriate mesh.Try using a finer mesh or refining the mesh in areas with high stress concentration.
2. Material properties , verify the defined material parameters. Unrealistic or incorrect values can cause convergence issues.Ensure material properties, such as elasticity modulus, Poisson's ratio, and other relevant properties, are correctly defined.
3. Boundary conditions and loading, check the applied boundary conditions and loads. Excessive or unrealistic loads can cause issues.Try reducing the load or applying it gradually to see if the model can converge.
4. Solution algorithm and analysis Settings, adjust analysis step settings such as time step size or solution method.Use stability controls or different iterative methods if necessary.

I tried all the steps, but unfortunately, nothing works for me... Very strange as the stress plot in the initial increments looks rather scattered.
I ran out of idea why this thing doesn't want to run with nlgeom turned ON..
I realised some loads just don't want to converge no matter how small the initial increment is. This is so strange!
