Regarding your plastic material model:

In the vincinity of a stress singularity, there you might have high plastic strain. In that case, it is common practice to add an additional data point to the plastic material data with "very large" strain with a positive slope -

A few suggestion which might make your solver to converge.

- Using hybrid elements instead of standard ones

- Using Riks solver since it can handle instabilities

- Using displacement loading instead of force loading
