Hello everyone,

I am trying to remember the name of a word allied to technology. I am not sure whether it starts with an 'a' or an 'e' or something else, but I am sure it is either one of the two vowels. In essence, its definition means having been established for a long period of time. I think I was reading about it in relation to the Internet.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
