Does anyone know of any literature that discusses how male researchers handle professional relationships that become friendships after the research has concluded? I'm looking to discuss safeguards to implement if teenagers ask. Anything on the politics of being a researcher and interviewing woman and minors who are female?
Good morning, I do not know of an ethics of male researchers who interview women, I do not believe that something like this exists and if it existed it is a alienation from scientific practice. In my opinion, what exists is an ethics of scientific research, of respect for relations with the researched, not only with human beings, this is extensive to any object of study. He who violates these norms is not a responsible scientist, he is a swindler. That is very clear in any code of ethics. The researcher must respect the humans who research, the living beings, the nature, any object that interrelates with their academic activity. I suggest you read about the ethos of science, there is a work by R. Merton where it is well explained that scientific activity moves within a set of values and cultural norms that govern the scientific activities that govern the activity of the scientist. I am willing to continue exchanging with you on these issues.
Teenagers are least interested about safeguards in relation to the opposite sex. This a biologic neuro-hormonal surge/priming, that is far more powerful than any human restraint, as history will testify. They are in the exploratory mode. You might reframe your question about who would be asking for the safeguards.
Tricks are violations of privacy, and, can lead to legal consequences. I advise you not to undertake such investigative misadventures.

I think there is a misunderstanding. They were not patients. The conent was taken including that I WILL BE LISTENING to thier interview and I will be analyzing their words. I said the use of the word 'trick' was not appropriate.
