The roncador flies below the sea, too heavy to get out. Before, it was quite common in our wonderful cristalline waters in Formentera, Balears; now, it turned rare. Male fishes have extraordinary turquoise wings. It is popularly called the roarer because of the noises he produces when taken out of the sea.
