When the working ratio increase, automatically temperature target will be increase. Sometime coke quality have a little bit drop. What the parameter to optimize coke quality?
very good coke for the blast furnace is: CSR > 65 % (max 70%) and CRI < 28 % (min about 20%),

There are three optimization parameters for the carbonization process as follows:
1) Coking temperature
2) Residence time inside the coking oven.
3) Impurities levels in the feedstock being carbonized.

It is absolutely correct, but in the case of coke industry we assume parameter called coke readiness. This is the moment when the central plastic layer comes into the middle of the coke oven battery. We accept the final temperature of the coking process no higher than 1050oC. Therefore, for practical reasons, NSC and MICUM (M40, M10) indices are the basic parameters with all other qualities (moisture (dry, wet), content of ash, alkali, sulphur, volatile matter, phosphorus, etc.) together with grain size distribution as assortments.
