Our task is as follows:
We have a copper plate with area of 1 cm2 and thickness of several mm. To the bottom side of the plate we apply intense laser heating; from the top side we remove the heat using our advanced evaporative cooling system (for more details, see Ref. below). Our cooling system allows to remove the heat flux of up to 1.2 kW/cm2 (keeping the plate surface temperature below 130 deg). Our goal is to test our cooling system under much higher values of the heat flux (3-5 kW/cm2).
Can anyone suggest a powerfull laser capable to provide uniform heating of 1 cm2 area with the heat flux of 3-5 kW/cm2?
