What are your thoughts and arguments about the fabric of space-time being possible in a superluminous energy phase and therefore vacuum space to be perceived by us as "empty" ?
There are two parts to the problem. One part relates to Dark Energy which leads to the introduction of a cosmological term in the Einstein equations of General Relativity. This is a wrong explanation for the unexpected recession velocity profile of galaxies and the cosmological term should be removed:

The second part of the problem relates to the vacuum energy arising from quantum fluctuations in empty space. This is a false concept of quantum theory which has to be discarded.

Yes I am also in the opinion contrary to the BB that matter has NOT formed all at the same time out of an explosion. I believe that space medium "pre-existed" timeless and there was no time. Then matter in our Universe was created by phase changes occurring in this timeless space medium which as soon as the the first topological defects (localized creation of matter out of the space medium) appeared together with motion then our spacetime was born and also the physical phenomenon of motion and kinetic energy.
So the instant BB is not about the creation of space and matter in an instant but about the creation of our Time and motion in an instant and is not a point explosion at all. It took place all over space locally in different "places" and was gradual process over a period of time. Even now continuously new energy is created and destroyed (energy-matter swapping in and out from superluminous vacuum space phase, virtual particles) .
I agree with those who say that both time and space were created in the beginning of the universe and that neither pre-existed that beginning. As to the BB scenario where energy pre-existed substance, the vacuum catastrophe idea, is a fantasy IMO.
Either way you need a container to contain our Universe. Therefore, an event to happen needs an envirioment in which it is taking place. It is hard to me to imagine such an envirionment different than a space.
As Rene Decarte theorized in the 1600's, space is simply an extension of matter. It can be defined as simply the distance between matter or the volume that contains it, but it requires no defined border to it other than it would not extend beyond the existence of matter and field.
