Hi everyone,

I've been performing some 3D cultures where I embed cells in hydrogels. When I have many sample groups, I find that the cells that I detach stay in a suspension for quite some time (2+ hrs) before I finally embed them in the gels - during this time is it better to keep the cells on ice or RT? I've heard that ice is better because metabolic processes are slowed down, but there's also papers on shipping live cells showing that RT shipping yields better cell viabilities versus cold shipped cells!
