Im making liposomes with microfluidics, with a chip and two syringe pumps (no controls and automatization). Im concerned that im getting a 3 phase product: unencapsulated oil at the top, unencapsulated aqueous solution at the bottom and a intermediate phase charge with liposomes at the middle. With the flows that I use I get them almost in equal proportions.

How could i correct this, to obtain more volume of the phase with liposomes? And become more efficient.

Why im only encapsulating a fraction?

This could be solved using a more advance system with automatic controls and pressure system?
