I assume the force of question is about robust analyses as opposed to ordinary least squares analysis.
You might look at Wilcox's book on robust statistics (http://www.nicebread.de/software/WRS/index.html). Also, quantile regression; aligned ranks; Spearman correlation; mixed effects models; generalized linear model.
