Dear All, I have implemented an1D DOA based on a MUSIC algorithm.
How can I go from 1D to 2D DOA, my particular problem is implementing 2D steering vector and how to perform the search through both Azimuth and Elevation angles simultaneously. your help is highly Appreciated.
Dear researcher;
The steering matrix of the sources contains information about the angles of arrival. In the general case, the mathematical expression of this matrix contains both elevation and azimuth angles. If you want to obtain 2D spatial spectrum, you need the variation of the two mentioned angles. However, 1D spatial spectrum need only the variation of one angle and the other must be fixed (example theta=90°).
