28S:18S RNA integrity proportion ????

Hi, everyone!

we are trying to obtain RNA from murine muscle tissue by using silica beads for mechanical digestion of the tissue. Once we have the RNA and we want to verify its integrity, we see that for the 28S:18S, we obtain 1:1 instead of 2:1 proportion. Does anyone know what could be happening here?
