I wanted to used 2′,7′-Dichlorofluorescein dye for ROS detection but there are two dyes similar to each other 2′,7′-Dichlorofluorescein and 2′,7′-Dichlorofluorescein diacetate. The diacetate one shows non-florescent and turns into florescent upon oxidation. The normal 2′,7′-Dichlorofluorescein is florescent. Which one would be better to use???
