What parameters do I have to take into account to determine what kind of MW PEGDA is best to use for cell aggregate embedding?

I am new to the field of cell embedding in PEGDA hydrogels. Preferably, cells have to be able to penetrate the gel. Also, can the MW influence the diffusion of nutrients and metabolic waste products?
