Can anyone suggest a mouse cell line to be used as a negative control for Pax7 expression in C2C12 cells?

I am staining for Pax7 (fluorescence), and was looking for a negative control to establish the staining protocol. Any suggestion would be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot

Can anyone suggest a protocol for C2C12 cell differentiation to myotubes?

We seem to get a lot of proliferation in C2C!2 cells, even when they are treated with 2% horse serum. Though we see differentiation, there are still a lot of newly dividing cells in our cultures.
