ZZ maneuver with gravity in StarCCM?

Hi everyone! Has anyone been successful on implementing a zigzag maneuver in the vertical plane using starccm, with gravitational force enabled? ( using a K-E turbulence model). I have run into issues with making this work in the expected way and was hoping guidance from anyone who has made a prolate spheroid or any other simple object without a free surface or the free surface initial gravitational term enabled.
