Half of the world’s children, or approximately 1 billion children each year are affected by physical, sexual or psychological violence, suffering injuries, disabilities and death, because countries have failed to follow established strategies to protect them.
This is according to a new report published on 18th June by the World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, UNESCO, the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General on Violence against Children and the End Violence Partnership.

But the intensity of violance is varied among children depends on if child wearing safty accessories like hamlet and sooo on.. Realy it's heartbreaking.. But we must give attention for our child for protecting them.
Alarming in every way, as half of the world's children are affected by any kind of violence, with the highest rates of violence directed at children in Northern and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa in recent years. There is a high correlation between age of entry into violence and place of residence, with many incidents occurring in conflict and war zones. As children mature and reach adulthood, the overall risk of perpetrating violence increases significantly. It is estimated that there are over 60 million perpetrators of physical or sexual violence against children in the world today. While most of these attacks are perpetrated against girls, men also commit violence against women for various reasons.

It is really alarming that almost 1 billion children suffering from different forms of violence, the government should really strengthen its campaign against VAWC. According to reports cases of violence on children and women rise high especially during this pandemic, maybe because of the stress brought about by this pandemic. As an advocate of anti-VAWC, we have to encouraged persons to report any abused so that proper interventions will be given
