"Wurtzite is the name given to the mineral ZnS. It has a hexagonal close packed array of S and the Zn(II) sit in tetrahedral (1/2 occupied) sites in the lattice"

As the size of S2- ion is 184pm and Zn+2 is 74pm and therefore the size of tetrahedral void of HCP of S2- is (0.225*R= 41.4pm), how is possible for the Zn2+ to go in the tetrahedral site of S2- hcp?

Please clarify how is it possible in the wurtzite structure?
