What do you prefer? What do you think more beneficial for students and the course to write on the board or use power point presentation or both of them ? For me I use the two methods to gother
Zakaria Al-Qodah I very rarely use PPT, but prefer dialogue and whiteboard. Often I need to have an ongoing dialogue with my students during a lecture, so that PPT will not fit the interests of the students. I think a large part of my job is to create a common ground between the curriculum and the interests and needs of the students. If I use PPT, they are very few and for illustrating points that are difficult to draw or write on the whiteboard. There is research supporting the claim that the use of PPT together with a lecture can be conterproductive for the students learning process.
Both, but... I try to use the PPT reflection on the whiteboard because I like to interact with the students and my presentation... seems fun, breaks some common rule of teaching.
