Hello! I am a third-year psychology student, currently working on my bachelor thesis on: "Deconstruction of the unconscious | An attempt to define a structure within it". Where I try to gather information and interpret it in chronological order. I've been studying and following this project for about 2 and a half years now. I have everything gathered, starting from notes, research studies, references, etc. Though I am noticing that going on with the project feels a bit awkward. So much time was spent gathering information that laying it out seems to be giving me a nudge. I wanted to know if there are any tips or different ways I can follow that would help me approach the thesis from a better view. I am not too sure where, to begin with, it.

With a brief "Introduction" but that is an adequate panoramic view of it, like the "trailer" of a movie, and a good "Justification" of the reason for such thesis.
Write an introduction stating what you intend to do (the 'trailer'), and what the review of the literature and your analysis aim to contribute (the 'justification'). When you finish writing the whole project, you will almost always want to go back and heavily revise the introduction - so, don't worry too much about the first pages-as-introduction. Just start writing and trust yourself.
If you're going to order the literature chronologically, consider putting together a timeline of thought on the topic in your notes. Putting the timeline together - a chronology of pivotal moments in the literature - is effectively learning the literature/doing the analysis and synthesizing it into one. Then you can use the timeline as an outline.
If it turns out that thought didn't move in a linear, chronological fashion, but, e.g. there are two competing lines of theory, you might want to compare those theoretical perspectives by topic or theme etc.

Break it down into key points and break those key points into sub-categories. Should help you organise your thoughts so you can get going. Don't worry too much about the flow. Once you have broken it down, you will probably start to see the potential flow. All the other suggestions given are very useful as well. Manage the stress. Step back a bit and breathe.
Be original. Do not lead with quotations. Read the whole literature and do not "cherry pick" information that supports your hypotheses. Write for your mother....be clear, concise, and don't attempt to "impress" readers with obscure words or complex sentences.....write for clarity and understanding.

Honestly, the only way to make sense of the unconscious is from the analytic couch (savoir).
Book knowledge (connaissance) is always going to be secondary.

Write a short summary, a kind of expose - one page maximum. Please do not write more. On this page you can clarify what your thesis or question is and how you want to answer it. This has always helped me to master the first step into writing.

I felt the same way with my first Bachelor's thesis. In the end, I looked for a new topic and submitted the old one as my master's thesis. That was the best decision I could have ever made. I stopped working on the topic and looked for a smaller topic for a bachelor's thesis. Your topic sounds very big, it's at least a master's thesis.
