I worked on activated carbon and made electrodes for supercapacitors. Now, I have got some good results. But, the work much from past, has already occurred. I am in dilemma whether it's really worth publishing. Please comment on what should I do? Thanku took in anticipation.

Definitely you should write a manuscript. Once you do it, you may find that you need to do further experiments or amend your results. You may find something new from previous work.

Before starting preparation I recommend to check if your work or parts of it have already been already published elsewhere. If this is the case, you need to discuss your results against the previous work and provide new aspects.

Definitely, if some/all of the work has been already published by others, you will face difficulties during publication. You may re-orient the aim of the work to new point then you report on a new idea.
I think you should go with your results and highlights those point which makes better than the reported in the previous studies. Your material can be the same sometimes, but the findings will be different. So, I will suggest to write the manuscript and explain it as per the data you have.
