I'm planning to visit Spain by the end of this year for academic purposes, so i would like to be informed about any higher education institution or center ...etc that deals with ESP teaching/learning, especially in terms of pre-service and in-service ESP teacher training.

First of all, let me thank you for your reply.
By ESP, I mean English for Specific Purposes mainly for science students.
The teaching of foreign languages in Spain is of variable quality - in the case of English also comromised by poor competence based curriculums in secondary schools as well as a preponderance of private schools. At university level, the problem is multiplied and grave deficits are in evidence. You may wish to check out the language competence initiatives in UOC, the Open University of Catalonia which is already a trilingual university (Spanish, Catalan, English) and offerssome good online language courses.
I can only think of the courses offered by UNED. They have different postgraduate studies on ESP. Just check in case this is what you need.
