Hello, I am a researcher who is planning to join a conference with ISER (Institute for Scientific and Engineering Research) as the organizer. In this regard, I would like to ask, is this institution credible and trustworthy? Has anyone ever attended a conference from that institution and the submitted paper was actually published? ISER in my question above has a different website named iser.org. It uses .org not .co and it has a different logo with iser.co.
Maybe, i'll wait another respond to find out whether it is trustworthed or no. Thank you 🙏
Dear Fitria Yusrifa I would say, be careful with this one too. Like the other ISER there are too many disturbing things linked to https://iser.org.in :
-They claim to be an institute but there is no contact info (no physical address)
-If you scroll down on their homepage and click on one of the logos of the depicted journals (IJERCSE etc.) you are redirected to the site of “ardaconferences” which is for multiple reasons a highly questionable partner (see for example my reply of January 29th here https://www.researchgate.net/post/How_to_know_if_a_given_journal_is_Scopus_or_not/ or my reply of August 8th here https://www.researchgate.net/post/Should_articles_published_in_MDPI_journals_be_excluded_in_the_assessment_of_the_scientific_production_Is_this_already_happening_in_your_country/)
-If you go to publication https://iser.org.in/journals.php it is full of titles with issues. For example:

Webology, see here on RG https://www.researchgate.net/post/Please_I_want_the_home_page_of_the_Webology_journal_which_is_indexed_in_Scopus
Universal Journal of Public Health, is (for now…) indeed Scopus indexed https://www.scopus.com/sourceid/21101039168 but the publisher behind has a bad track record of discontinued titles, see for example https://www.researchgate.net/post/Environment-and-Ecology-Journal-a-fake-journal-or-not
-If you click on CALENDER [sic] and click on one of their (many…) conferences you find at the bottom of the page numerous logos which are either pointless or suspect. For example, the doidirectory misleadingly suggest a link to DOI but it is a fake one
So, I would say too many warning signs.
