So called predatory journals were started and nourished due to the reasons of huge publication charge and unnecessary delay in publication performed by most of the famous journal publishers.

The vague IF is the outcome of restriction of allowing IF to many journals who deserve it.

As journal publication is purely a business and business organisations generally cares nothing except business, there are many complains regarding these related subjects.

Many famous journals can also be termed as"predatory" as they want huge charges by showing citation matrix or IF. Many articles published in such journals are also actually having a little or no value.

The quality of research in the articles should only be given importance, not the journal.

Question is - How it can be evaluated impartially?

I think that the avoidance of impartial evaluations is a matter of finding time on behalf of the researcher to perform a thorough review of Any Given paper despite of its publisher. I would read any paper that attempts to solve unanswered problem no matter the journal. To protect ideas, it is expeditive to publish works in local journal that knows your activities. You may then use other platform for vulgarization if necessary. ResearchGate is in right direction.

Do not encourage academic and mental laziness! Life is in hierarchy! There are high qualities and there are fake products. A high quality product is known by its Trade Mark or Brand Name. Counterfeit exists. In some fields of knowledge, everything goes. Science is exception. Science searches for the truth and truth only.

There are a lot of publishers out there you do not need to pay a dime to; in order to get your work published. Look for them. Let the referees give you proper assessment. That is the only way you can learn and improve.

Be a lifelong learner. Do not look for "international" journals that will collect your money without carrying out any review or give your work to people who are not in your profession to review your work.

What information will you pass to the next generation? Avoid predatory journals! Their articles are misleading. They may carry the identities of original papers. They are not! The authors of such journals are hungry and the predators need your hard earned money, too.

Yes. If the paper is well written and coherent, I would read it and cite it. The journal/conference doesn't matter it is just a carrier.

Yes, in my opinion, the contents and innovative idea are more important than the publisher.

I don't regard RG as poor or predatory. RG was recommended to me by colleagues who publish on RG as a way to prove authorship and publication date.

I agree with the RG members who have highlighted that the quality of the article is more important than the reputation of the publisher .It has been observed that if a good article has been rejected by a reputed publisher , the researcher has no choice , but to publish it in other journals . It is the citations which determine the quality of the article .

I found that some authors' articles in very high reputed publisher cited my articles these have not high impact factors.

I mean the contents of the articles are only important.

If the contents are very novel, the authors neglect the publisher and cite.
