Two centuries ago Malthus (1766-1834) gave the first warnings of the lack of resources due to the overpopulation and proposed the control of natality as a solution.

Jonathan Swift (1667-1745) wrote in 1729 “A modest proposal” as a satire on a way to control the birth of the poor people for their own good and the benefit of the upper classes.

In the 19th century, peasants were concerned by the release of smoke by the steam trains that were in their opinion changing the climate. Svante August Arrhenius (1859-1927) discovered and demonstrated the GHG effect.

This week-end during the world cup, following a reporting, the media informed that Sanofi at Mourenx (64) French Pyreneans, under the presidency of a former Bayer Health Care corporate employee, released massive amounts of bromopropane. How long as this type of ‘pollution/poisoning’ going on?

Is it again a case of pondering benefice (limiting the population) risk (increasing GHG) to continue business as usual?

Are poor human beings to be considered as parasites or plagues?

Is it a failure to educate the people in power and/or populations?

Do you have such examples related to birth control and/or climate control/geoengineering? How would you consider them?

Have the populations a right to be informed and make a choice between changing their behavior or be poisoned without knowing and their consent?

Thank you inadvance for you comments are welcome.
