Study Participants Needed

“What are the best encryption methods on cloud data to ensure cloud security in technology adoption?”

Shannon D. Pearson, the researcher, is a doctoral candidate in the process of obtaining a Doctorate of Information Technology at Capella University. The researcher’s study examines encryption methods in cloud technology applied to cloud data to reach a consensus of best practices among IT experts in cloud encryption and cloud technology adoption.

The study will consist of multiple rounds of open-ended research questionnaires which could reach three or more complete rounds if required. The rounds following the initial qualifier will be based off responses from the previous rounds in the research study. The questionnaires will be administered through Qualtrics XM. Each study participant will have a ten-day time interval between each round. A URL will be emailed to qualified study participants to complete the first-round questionnaire once the prospective study participant has e-Signed the Informed Consent Form (ICF) and returned the ICF to the researcher.

Please review the following criterion for participation in this research study:

· A prospective participant must have 5+ years’ experience in cloud technology including adoption and knowledge of encryption methods.

· A prospective participant must understand encryption methods related to data security in cloud environments.

Prospects are not eligible to participate if any of the following are true:

· Prospect has less than five years’ experience in cloud technology including but not limited to cloud data security and encryption methods.

· Prospect does not or has not in the past acted in any of the listed roles: cloud security administrator, IT manager, integration specialist, product specialist, IT expert, cloud technology integration advisor or specialist, or similar roles with knowledge of cloud security and/or encryption methods.
