There is a 1km sqr Cretaceous sponge reef at West Runton still in-situ but slowly being eroded by the tidal action. I have mapped 4 sections to show the north-east tidal flow in the Cretaceous period 80mya I have photographed it as best as possible to show the larger paramoudra multa that trend NE as next-generation placement and the P tecta that outline the oval shape. There are many flint oval reef shapes from North Norfolk up to Hamburg. Regards Russell
