I'm undergraduate student and doing my first research about effect of learning material on students. The effect is divided into three main aspect. I only able to take 21 as sample among 43 students, and giving them 12 questions from close-ended questionnaire using likert scale.
I'm trying to process the data by analyzing it with statistic descriptive, would it work? or is there any better way?
I really would appreciate any help.
Deskriptive statistics (e.g., mean, range) should work nicely with your closed-response scales. This is usually considered a quantitative approach (not a qualitative one).

But as for now, in your opinion, what would the best way to analyze the data? considering I want to analyze how students respond to each questions. Is there any similar way other than descriptive statistic? I wish to use the easiest to understand method, considering this is my first research, I don't know much yet.
Hi Wicahya Teja, the article is open access, you can get it from the journal website right away.
It sounds as if you want to make comparisons between questions, not between groups of people (your N is small, anyway). For this you would, as a start, compute the means, SDs, and ranges of your 12 items and compare them descriptively. If you want to make a visual of it you could use box plots. You asked for descriptive statistics (not inferential), so this should be fine. HTH

Yes, I realize my N is small, that's why I decide to go for qualitative method, and I just want to find out how students perception to learning material, which asked through 12 items, and I want to describe each of them and visualize it.

I understand. Please note that descriptive analysis of closed-response questions is usually not considered qualitative research.
21x12 closed question + a qualitative element could work; depends what you want to do; what you're looking for.
