I'm thinking something along the lines of outcome evaluation or an effectiveness study of non-profit/charity organizations, addressing poverty, education, or mental health. I don't have a lot of time to contribute, but I am interested in having a hand in some research or data analysis if someone has a project you would like to work on.
I am ready, but please specify in what respect i have to contribute as am residing in India.

Anita Everett, MD, who is at Johns Hopkins and a national leader in public/community psychiatry. She is running for President of the American Psychiatric Association and may or may not have time to devote to 'hands on' helping, but her connections are clearly with persons you'd want to know.
William Carpenter, MD, is similarly a busy person, as Director of the Maryland Psychiatric Research Institute affiliated with the University of Maryland's Dept of Psychiatry, AND editor of Schizophrenia Bulletin. But he is, in addition to being a superb researcher, a nice person who can point you in the right direction.
Beatrice Kovasznay, MD, MPH, PhD, received all of her degrees at Hopkins, and then relocated to NYS where she has worked for Stony Brook and for the NYS Office of Mental Health: she is interested in public health, is from Baltimore, and, depending on her time commitments, may be able to also give you some pointers/leads/contacts.
