I'm looking for more recent literature on effects of racism and discrimination on the mental health of African Americans. Something similar to the citation below, but preferable within the last few years. Thanks!

I am also interested in the question, I remember that the great reports about the situations of the Afroamerican like Thomas Jesse Jones 1917 (or so) mentioned health aspects. In particular see the large report: An American Dilemma: The Negro Problem and Modern Democracy. It is a 1944 study of race relations authored by Swedish Nobel-laureate economist Gunnar Myrdal. - Richard Kluger in his book "simple justice" indicated that the hygienic conditions of schools for black children in the South were disastrously.
