The best way to support the HIV cause is to participate in seminars and workshops that draw the attention of people go the risks of this epidemics and how to find ways that may prevent the spreading among people. Also to donate money to buy medicines for those who have this virus and sympathize with them.

Mushtaq Ahmad , you are so right. By stigmatizing the victims, we discourage them from being transparent and disclosing their HIV status. Which can lead to further spread. They are also less likely to seek treatment for proper management of the condition.
The need to combine the efforts of the official and non-official health service providers and to cooperate with the school, universities, places of worship and the media to raise awareness among them regarding the disease and support the patient and his family so that the disease will be limited in the future and avoid its social, psychological and economic consequences.
HIV/AIDS positive status carries stigma. In my opinion, awareness raising to eliminate such stigma will encourage the carriers if HIV aid to not remain secretive about their status. As a result many unsuspecting partners will not be exposed to this virus. This will also help with proper management and counseling.
Advice for them to religiously adhere to the directions of their drugs intake as advised by their physicians. Most importantly, is to show love and association without any form of stigmatisation at anytime. Sex Education, as identified by many contributors above, is key to help them know the risks of deliberate and indeliberate sexual intercourse.
Educate yourself about HIV/AIDS before listening to false rumors. Though not curable till date, proper ART can prolong life of the patient and they can lead normal life just as anybody else.
