In the ancient Indian texts, we have been told to enjoy the journey and stop thinking about the results. So, this is what I try to do in order to overcome anxiety. However, I must also tell you that in such efforts I have failed many a times.
Work is always associated with a certain tension. If you organize it correctly, then the work leaves a feeling of satisfaction, joy. During difficult periods at work, it is important to follow the regime. After 2-3 hours of hard work, you need to take a break for 30 minutes, and do something else - which will distract from the monotonous work.

In my view, anxiety at work is quite natural, maybe it's what gives meaning to work. Anxiety begins to be negative when you work on things you don't like or when you don't have enough motivation. There is nothing better than a moment of success after a job that you love, tiresome and anxious.
We are all anxious from time to time. The thing that really helps is to go through that situation until the anxiety fades off which it does when you have experienced it some times. You can also use the paradoxical intention invented by V.E.Frankl = you decide to show how anxious you are to your colleagues. You decide to sweat liters, to tremble so that the walls are "shaking", to faint in front of your collegues, The more you put in efforts to show that you are really anxious, the more it paradoxically disappears. This really works!
If I am having difficulties or struggling with something, I go and do something else for a while, then come back to it. I generally see things much clearer then.
