In order to convert the electrical energy to heat energy we need good conductor (low resistance) to carry the current through it and this is the fundamentals that we learn in school. my question is if I have heating element work with this conditions:

- wattage = 500 W

- voltage 120

what is the suitable power supply to control the wattage? for information the input current will be used for this supply AC and the voltage work with 220-240 . I will be grateful for consideration you give for this matter.
